We believe that great bookkeeping starts with understanding your business inside and out. Our onboarding process is designed to ensure a smooth transition and set the foundation for long-term success.
Start by completing our intake form to express your interest in working together. This form gathers essential information about your business and helps us determine if we’re the right fit for your needs.
Step 1: Client Intake Form
Next, we schedule a discovery call to dive deeper into your business operations, accounting structure, goals, and pain points. We’ll discuss how you receive income, pay bills, and manage payroll for employees and contractors. If you use QuickBooks Online, we’ll request access to perform a full diagnostic review.
Step 2: Discovery Call
Using the insights gathered, we create a customized proposal outlining the services that best support your business—this may include a one-time clean-up project followed by ongoing monthly bookkeeping. We also provide a clear estimate of your investment.
Step 3: Proposal & Planning
Once you approve the proposal, we’ll send a service agreement for your review and signature. After signing, you’ll receive an invitation to our secure client portal, along with a new client questionnaire and a checklist of requested documents.
Step 4: Agreement & Onboarding
We’ll schedule an onboarding call to finalize access to your financial systems and set up read-only connections to relevant accounts. You’ll be introduced to your dedicated bookkeeper and receive communication guidelines and best practices for a successful partnership.
Step 5: Kickoff & Setup
With everything in place, we begin managing your bookkeeping and related services. Tasks are organized in our project management system for transparency and efficiency. We meet with you regularly—weekly, monthly, or quarterly—to review your financials and collaborate on achieving your business goals.
